Every year, we provide more than 140,000 free food and drink items to people affected by homelessness and poverty across the UK.

When people can sit down for a meal in a welcoming environment where they’re treated with dignity, this opens the door to deeper engagement. That’s why, for us, food belongs at the heart of ending homelessness.

All are welcome

Find a free food service

We offer daily free food services at our coffee shops in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, and London — both takeaway and sit-in services are available.
Pay it forward

Igniting everyday generosity

We make it easy for customers at our coffee shops to “pay it forward”, adding a little extra on top of their purchase to cover the cost of a drink, snack, or meal for someone who needs it. This helps fund an average of 3,000 food and drink items that we give to people experiencing homelessness and food poverty each week.

A safe space

Community and connection

Our coffee shops are welcoming spaces in the heart of the city. Because they’re easy to access, people can visit without feeling othered. They’re places to build relationships — with people with similar experiences, and with our friendly volunteers and knowledgeable staff. People can also find out about support and opportunities available to them when they visit.

UK-wide Impact

Working together across the country

We’re proud to work with more than 100 grassroots organisations across the UK who believe in the power of sitting down and sharing a meal. We support these organisations to provide free food and support to people who are vulnerable and experiencing homelessness in their local communities
