Glasgow’s local community-minded coffee shop
Social Bite Glasgow is known for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and cracking choice of food and drink. It’s run as a social enterprise, and is part of one of the UK’s leading homelessness charities.
In its first year on Sauchiehall Street, our Glasgow coffee shop provided more than 21,000 free meals to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. As part of our free food service, we offer women-only Social Suppers on Wednesdays, providing a safer, trauma‑informed space to eat, connect and access support.
I’m so glad I came across this amazing little place. I had a lovely cup of tea and carrot cake. The staff are great and it’s such a fab place for an amazing cause. It was really heart warming seeing the charity making a difference to so many people who are in need.
