An Aberdeen institution
We’ve been changing lives in Aberdeen since 2015, serving over 170,000 free meals to people experiencing homelessness in the last decade.
Right in the heart of the city, our Union Street coffee shop is a welcoming, intimate, inclusive space, loved by locals and visitors alike. It’s run as a social enterprise, and is part of one of the UK’s leading homelessness charities. In 2020, Catherine, Princess of Wales paid us a visit as part of her work on early childhood and homelessness, and even helped prepare some of our delicious wraps.
At Social Bite Aberdeen, community is everything. There’s no “us and them” — it’s only “us”, always.
Really lovely staff and super friendly and welcoming to me and my puppy! He’s now a regular visitor and we enjoy popping in for chats and delicious food, also amazing coffee!
