Social Bite co-founders Josh Littlejohn and Alice Thompson were given a Special Recognition award at the 2019 Pride of Britain Awards in London on Monday 28th October 2019.

The award, presented to them by actor Michael Sheen and Director Ken Loach, celebrates the work that they have done since the co-founded Social Bite in 2012, building it up from one social enterprise cafe in Edinburgh to five branches (and counting), a nationally recognised brand, host of the World’s Big Sleep Out and the Wee Sleep Out, and key player in projects and policy working to end homelessness in Scotland.

Well done Josh and Alice!

Whilst they were there, Alice found some new Social Bite fans…
